I am looking for information on my father, George M. Broomfield, who was part of the marine detachment on board the USS Maryland from June 1940 until latter 1942. He was part of the 1st Marine Division, 7th rer., 3rd Div., Co. C, killed in Okinawa in June of 1945. Donald Ray (Broomfield) Sarton.

Hi, We am new to this site and quite pleased to see it! D

oes anyone know how to obtain the US Marine crew list at Pearl Harbor on 12/07/41?

Our father, Max Mayes or Jack Mayes, a Marine, gunners mate, was aboard that fateful day and we would very much like to hear from anyone who might know of him.

He had Navy friends on the Oklahoma and was going there when the Japs hit.

We are trying to build a history for our family and future generations, lest we forget.

Any information is greatly appreciated.
TIA.
