Former crewman William S. Chick served aboard USS Maryland from 1941 thru 1945. Now resides in an Assisted Living facility, Kansas City, Mo. He was awarded several Medals, ie Phillipene Liberation Medal, Purple Heart and Bronz Star. Unfortunately, he never recieved these accomendations. As are others, he is in poor health. If anyone can assist please contact me .
