I am trying to prepare a damage/incident history for the kamikaze hit of 29 Nov. 44. Anything that can be remembered will probably help. All I have right now is the basic location, and a few details from the USS MARYLAND 1941-1945 book. I would like to know the extent of the damage, such as blast damage at various deck levels, smoke spread, firefighting efforts, and any other related info. I am scanning in the photos from the USS MARYLAND 1941-1945 book, as well as deck plans from the Damage Control Book, which may help jog memories. I have access to these due to my job with the Navy.
